Leverborough is only a couple of miles away and has shops, a restaurant and even a hairdresser !! The ferry leaves from here for daytrips to the Uist Islands and you can spot seals in the Sound of Harris on route. The golden eagle has been reintroduced to Scotland and you can see them from the garden.
